How Our Personalized Home Buying Process Works

The TimberCraft new build home buying process won’t leave you guessing. Here’s how the process works:

1. Meet with Our Sales Team

When buying a new construction home with TimberCraft, our sales team is here for your every step of the way. We actively listen to your needs and help you choose the perfect neighbordhood and floorplan from our list of options.

For those relocating from California, Texas, or other areas outside of Oklahoma, we’ll help you build your new life in the Sooner State. Our sales team will provide local, expert insights into the neighborhoods and lifestyle of Oklahoma. We’ll be your boots on the ground to provide a home you love even if you can’t physically be here every step of the way.

We personalize your home build. To do so, we let you personalize your home from a range of options. You choose from 15 home floor plan options ranging from contemporary, modern, and farmhouse designs. 

Our designer helps you transform your house plan into a home. We go over our home interior and exterior design options with you. 

 

During your visit, we’ll cover: 

       -Cabinet styles and colors 

       -Countertops, appliances, and backsplashes 

       -Flooring from tile, LVT, and Carpet

       -Interior and exterior paint 

       -Door style and hardware

       -Plumbing and lighting fixtures 

 

Our team meets with you as we construct your home and makes sure your new home build stays on track. Throughout the process, we provide several walkthroughs to keep you informed. We start with a preconstruction floorplan walkthrough. Then, we provide a walkthrough once the framing is done, plus a trim walkthrough after all cabinets, flooring, etc. is done. Finally, we provide a new home owner orientation to ensure you’re familiar with every aspect of your new home.  If you have any concerns or questions during your new home construction, your sales professional is with you every step of the way.   

Our home orientation is the final meeting before closing on your new home. We walk you through everything you need to know about your new home, and answer any questions you may have.

What to Expect During Our Move-in-Ready Home Buying Process

If you want a move-in-ready home, we’ve got you covered. Here are the steps involved in our move-in-ready home buying process:

1. Find Your Dream Home

Explore our available homes or reach out to us. From here, we can help you find the home that suits you and aligns with your personal style and budget. 

You can schedule a date and time with us to walk through one of our 100% move-in ready homes. During the walkthrough, we can answer any questions you have about the home.

TimberCraft offers multiple preferred lenders with incentives to help buyers finance our move-in-ready homes. Matt Brown from Sovereign Bank offers 1% of the loan amount towards closing costs (up to $3,000) or a rate buydown. Shelby Weston from Hometown Lenders also offers a rate buydown or 1% of the loan amount towards closing costs. 

We can connect you to the right lender for your financial needs. Once you complete your purchase, you can move in to your home right away.

TimberCraft Homes Warranty

At TimberCraft Homes, we stand behind all of our new and move-in-ready residences. We offer a 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty on each of our homes. The first thing it covers is a Workmanship Warranty that establishes standards for the fit and finish of construction materials like the roofing, counters, and cabinets. It also covers a Distrbution Systems Warranty that covers essential functions like electrical, mechanical systems, and plumbing. Finally, we include a Structural Warranty on designated load-bearing elements, such as roof framing systems and load bearing walls.
